It involves the positioning of structures around a specific anatomic fulcrum in a position of ease. A release of a restriction occurs naturally in ligaments and interosseous membranes.Facilitated positional release is an indirect technique and is performed through passive positioning and shortening of muscular and ligamentous structures to facilitate relaxation of neuromuscular reflexes and resting tonicity.Techniques promoting lymphatic flow is a system of precise movements described as stimulatory, stroking, oscillatory, or vibratory. Thoracic Pump lymph drainage technique is a classical example that stimulates lymphatic flow. Exercises and techniques affecting muscle activity (e.g. direct pressure, stroking, effleurage) are taught.Osteopathy in a Cranial field is a set of specific gentle manipulations of cervical and occipital regions. It has proven to be effective in reducing pain caused by tension headaches and migraines.

Marie’s wellness journey began in childhood, marked by frequent illness and misdiagnoses. For years, she suffered from bronchial infections and strep throat, later discovering they were caused by food intolerances. Adapting to a lifestyle free of trigger foods in her 20s and 30s was a transformative challenge that sparked her passion for helping others navigate their own health journeys.

In 1994, Marie became a certified Personal Trainer, launching what is now a career spanning over 30 years. She has since expanded her expertise to include Restorative and Pre/Postnatal Yoga, Pilates, and Holistic Nutrition, allowing her to provide a personalized, whole-body approach to wellness. Marie specializes in working with pre/postnatal clients and those 60 and older, tailoring her programs to support clients through every stage of life.

After two pregnancies in her 30s, Marie faced new challenges, including a diagnosis of Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism. These experiences inspired her to collaborate with naturopathic professionals and develop the ReNEWU Meal Plan, which integrates thyroid, cortisol, and hormonal testing with personalized nutrition and lifestyle strategies.

Recognizing a gap in Pilates training programs, Marie wrote and published the Marie Hayden Pilates Teacher Training Program in 2020. She now trains and certifies students and clients worldwide, offering mentorship to help new instructors refine their skills and build fulfilling careers.

As a Master Pilates Teacher Trainer, holistic health coach, and advocate for vibrant living, Marie blends decades of experience with compassion and a results-driven approach.
